Coffee tables are fun, and easy, to make with recycled skateboards. It’s an excellent way to show off all the past skateboard decks you’ve skated. I’ve made more than my fair share of them of the years, and I enjoy how each one is so colorful and unique. My first ever piece of skateboard furniture was a coffee table, and I still own it today. It’s almost entirely my own skateboards (some have gone to other projects).

Best of all you’ll never need a coaster! But you can sure joke around with your friends and demand they use one…

    I believe firmly in taking unique materials and rebuilding them ("upcycling", if you will) into something better. Take a look at the recycled skateboard furniture and freakbikes and see for yourself. They're all hand crafted in Portland, Oregon, and are pretty awesome.
