Recycled Snowboard and Aluminum Chair

I have been designing and building furniture since 2001 (10 years, what’s up!). Probably my most noteworthy pieces use recycled snowboards and skateboards to construct colorful, and surprisingly comfortable, chairs and tables. I have also used recycled street signs, and other found materials acquired in the urban landscape. Pre-made pieces of furniture are always available. Custom pieces depend on materials on-hand.

    I believe firmly in taking unique materials and rebuilding them ("upcycling", if you will) into something better. Take a look at the recycled skateboard furniture and freakbikes and see for yourself. They're all hand crafted in Portland, Oregon, and are pretty awesome.
