When it comes to design I try to keep up rough appearances. Not rough as in "sloppy" but rough as in "edgy". It's important to maintain a visual prominance while flaunting a rough hand-made aesthetic quality with my pieces. The last several years have been spent gaining experience by taking graphic design classes at both Boise State University and the University of Washington. I have also been able to take part in design projects for several Seattle-area companies. These private projects range from simple black and white ads targeted at "grass-roots" marketing in school auction booklets to assisting a local design firm with the creation of a high-end marketing piece.
The experience gained has given me a competitive edge in my design work and the skills necessary to back it up.
